PC KITS-home page (PC Input/Output ports)

This is a page for electronic professionals, students and hobbyists. We are trying to offer information, tutorials, links and other resources for those who works with electronics. We specially focus in the hardware of the PC compatible computers.

If you are curious to know the details of the hardware of your PC, this is a page for you. In this page we will publish lots of information about the different components and devices that your computer consist of. We specially keen on input/output ports, that is, the ways that the PC communicates with the outside world. So we will publish articles about the motherboard, the serial and the parallel ports, the ISA , EISA, and PCI buses, etc.

We are only starting in internet, so our page will be growing gradually. For the moment we present the following sections.

Tutorial

In this section we will post all the information we have promised above. It used to contents articles about the parallel and the joystick ports, but now we have added new articles. We show you the description and how to programm the serial port and the ISA bus.
